This list is made to meet existing and expected laws, regulations, and customer
requirements in the countries and markets in which Emerson
Network Power Energy Systems operate.

Banned substances shall not be used in products delivered by Emerson
Network Power Energy Systems.
Restricted substances need approval to be used in products delivered by Emerson
Network Power Energy
Systems.
Restricted substances should be phased out as soon as a technically and economically
acceptable alternative has been found.

The bans and restrictions does not apply when trace amounts of a substance derives from
natural contamination.
